Just woken up, and sitting next to a nice warm fire
I miss summer, I think I deal with heat better then cold.

Still waking up... but I am almost certain there's a chicky or two waiting in the incubator for me!

I've only just woken up, had a bit of a bad night as one of our dogs, Gemma, got ear flaps from her allergies and had to come in to our beds to stop her flapping.
And then our other dog, Paddy, when went off barking a couple hours later, and woke me up again.
What kind of chicks!?

I've only just woken up

I am not an early morning person, especially in Winter!

had a bit of a bad night as one of our dogs, Gemma, got ear flaps from her allergies and had to come in to our beds to stop her flapping.
And then our other dog, Paddy, when went off barking a couple hours later, and woke me up again.

Well that doesn't sound pleasant! I rarely have uninterrupted sleep these days

What kind of chicks!?

It's gonna be a mystery! They weren't planned so it's whatever decided to breed with whatever
Could be pure Sussex, could be pure Barnvelder (could be mixed colour barnevelder for some of the male chicks), could be Sussex X Barnevelder!

Yes! The winter contest is always fun to watch but the only way for us to participate is to save photos.
