Anyone still follow this thread? I’ve become quite the antique collector and there is no shortage of chicken themed antiques out there. Seems people have always loved these quirky little birds…found some good ones today.

I also love bottle digging, too - I suppose that’s a form of acquiring antiques - if anyone is into that let me know! I have plenty of old bottles to share pics of!!

Don’t have to ask me twice dug these ones up this summer outside of Medicine Bow, WY in an area that was once an old Union Pacific post where the railworkers and their families lived. The milk bottles are my favorite. One has old war propaganda on it. Nothing is too old, maybe from the 1930s, but still a neat find.

Colbalt blue glass is one of my favorites, too - somewhat of a more sought after color in the bottle digging world. I imagine people had such beautiful medicine cabinets and pantries back when everything was made of glass.
