All turned out to be Roosters - Need Help

At 12-14 weeks, they should start showing hackle and saddle feathers if they were male. They are longer, silkier and more pointy than on a pullet. The tail feathers will likely soon start curving down, too. If they aren't already, they may start trying to crow soon, too.

So are the chicks in India? Current weather there is 75° F. Not cold compared the the 20° I've been in.

I ask because I know roosters are often kept as pets in India and the combs and wattles grow unbelievably large to help off put the heat.

Hi yes. no problem. They are currently in India, specifically in North India where according to their standards it is pretty cold lol. In her town the temp fluctuates between 40-75 these days. Over there in rural areas people keep chickens for eggs and meat but they are of some different breed. Usually people call them "desi" means "local". I found a link here which describes the different breeds over there and looking at the pictures in this link I can say that that's what I have seen in person there too when I used to live there. http://vikaspedia.in/agriculture/poultry/backyard-poultry/breeds-availability
