Just get another bulb in there stat and keep incubating! A hen may need to get off the eggs for a while but will still go back and incubate. The eggs may be just fine. You won't know for sure until hatching day but don't give up on them!

I have 17 snowflake bobs in that should hatch in 5 or so days and Mexican speckled bobs that should start pipping and hatching anytime now

The specks I'm kind of worried about today is day 24 now and none have pipped. The inside is VERY pink colored though..should I leave them in much longer or what should I do?

at this age when you candle them it should be blackish not pink, if its pink or yellow its probably not developing at that age

Homemade incubators. For coturnix.
Anybody made one that is successful?
I have a polystyrene box and I presume I could make an incubator in there.
I heard for humidity you just need a dish of water with a sponge in.
I have 5 unsexed coturnix quail outdoors, one male living outdoors with my rabbit and a pair outdoors. One of my indoor quail we think has a dislocated hip, what can we be done about this?

Oh thats awesome, what about humidity. What type of quail? Lemme know as I may make my own. Have not had one quail egg yet though.
