Does anyone know how to tell what color variety chicks will be when they get bigger? How do you tell when they are chicks?

I have a question regarding feeding button quail.

I live in a very small town where no one has ever heard of buttons, therefore, I have problems finding food for them.

Can someone please let me know brands and type of food so I can possibly order online.

yep. I want a bigger one though so i can hatch more eggs at a time. Looking into permits and such to sell eggs and meat to restaurants

If you pop out one of the windows, you can grab chicks out without letting a ton of heat and humidity escape.

i just reached in real fast and took them out. It's close to 80 and rather humid in my room. Didn't affect things much

My 20 jumbo browns and a&m eggs are on day 12 and really starting to shake! Think I should lockdown a day early? My eggs usually hatch day 16/17 but these are really moving!

18 so far. One egg rocking but no movement from the other eggs. Two died part way out last night. Surviving chicks are healthy and very active. I'll give another day or so for late hatchers

My button eggs are going to go into lockdown tomorrow... But I've had some temperature spikes overnight. I've found them at 106 degrees in the morning
