Well yes, but in practice quail eggs are a good bit more difficult because of the markings, maybe quail eggs that are pure white.

i will have to look at mine then. hopefully if i can see one of those spots in some of these first eggs that i am eatin anyway i will be able to tell at least if my roo is doing his job.

I think I'm going to have to build a bigger incubator. I have two separate batches in my little giant. 100 quail eggs. And 25 more sitting in a carton waiting to be incubated.first batch due next weekend and second batch the weekend after. So many babies.

Cool! I got some heritage turkey eggs today for my goose to hatch for fun, getting some ancona duck eggs this week for her too....Also got just a couple valley, harlequin, snowflake, and the georgia giants in the bator now with some meat chicken eggs....

Ok, Interested in any Duck/Goose hybrids haha I have eaten 4 goose eggs this week and all were fertile! So she went broody, has 3 of her own eggs to see if they will hatch along with blue slate and royal palm turkey, and ancona duck (The anconas are blue, black, chocolate, and tricolor all in the same pen)

I'm currently incubating my first batch of button quail eggs. I'm on day 2. 12 of the eggs are in a new Brinsea Mini Advance, and the other 3 are in a Hova-Bator 1602N with fan (I've got an egg turner on order, but I don't think it will arrive in time for this hatch). So we'll see how it goes. I'm very excited about this!

i can't have any more ducks. I candled a couple of the muscovy eggs my girl is hatching and they kinda look like they are at different stages. I guess I'll find out when they start hatching. I am building a separate Hatcher too so i can keep the incubator running and hatch out smaller batches instead of all at once.

Niether can I haha, but I am allowed to keep the hybrids
