All You MANLY MEN......un manly deeds

I have WHAT in my yard? :

Sorry fellas, my DH wins the most un-manly man who still pursues women award.

He is the scout leader for my DAUGHTER"S GIRL SCOUT TROOP! And he is great at it and the girls all love him. And when they chose Brilliant pink shirts to wear in the parade - he ordered an XXL and wore a pink T-shirt through town.

He loves Disney movies and bakes brownies and cookies.

He doesn't follow any sports. Can't even answer any question about what season it is.

What proves that he is a real man? That he does all of that, takes the head on over the top teasing from his co-workers and doesn't care. Now, that's a manly man!!

Yep... a manly man can do anything and not care about what anyone says.

This thread has become a little disturbing though.

With all the chicken people we have on here and all the laws people are trying to get passed to be able to own them I think you guys have maybe set them back a bit.

I can just see all those people trying to keep laws as they are saying, "But chicken owners pee in the yard! It's even promoted on the biggest chick website and they give details!"

Oh and a manly man wouldn't have cared about hand washing first! Cookies anyone?

Just sayin!

I made some comments about this thread and hubby (who is vaccuming the upstairs for me RIGHT now!) made a comment I almost forgot about....

When i was 7 months pregnant in the kitchen baking... I don't like wearing shoes... jumped at the chance to make the comment "In the kitchen barefoot and pregnant... who could ask for more!?"

Yeah he's a MAN!

If we have a thread about unmanly men and the unmanly things they do, do we need an equal opportunity thread for we women who don't do all those frilly feminine things? You know, those of us who own our own tools & aren't afraid to use them? And, what the heck would we call such a thread?

I think that is fantastic. Your daughter will cherish those memories.

I wasn't ever in Girl Scouts, but I was in Camp Fire girls and I was the only girl at the father/daughter dance without a father. We're still not close, as you can imagine. But I now have a wonderful step dad that's more of a father to me, and more of a grandfather to my kids than my own father. His loss.

Heck ya!

You want all that muscle then use it mister. Great for lifting the couch while you vacuum.

You could lift the fridge to sweep and dust.

Hard to comb your own hair though with muscles like that isn't it?

And then there's the fact that some things get smaller in comparison to those muscles. hmmmmm

Yeah, get ta cleanin!!!!!

As for the woman's thread???

Real Women Wear Toolbelts!
