I have this turkey, Her name is Puff. She has a swollen head, and I don't know what's causing it! She eats, drinks, and poops normally. We had her on antibiotics, and kept her inside, and the swelling went down. I let the turkeys out into the round pen today, and her face went like someone had blown up a baloon! I currently have her and another hen penned up in the coop. the rest of the turkeys are outside, and she's NOT happy about it!!
Is there such a thing as a turkey or poultry that is allergic to sun?! If so, is there something I can put on her to make her more comfortable, and even able to go outside, like Poultry sun screen?
