So while researching on quail I have come across websites that say quail eggs reduce allergies (except allergies to eggs) and was curious if this was true. Im interested in quail regardless of this quality, but was just curious if anyone else had heard of this property or had any supporting evidence/personal experience.
Thanks in advance

Fascinating. Thanks for the link. My nephew's both have a list of food allergies and a few environmental ones too so it has peaked my interest.

Good luck :D another thing is that because a little quail egg has about 5x the nutrition of a big chicken egg, some people can only eat a few at a time or else they get an upset stomach.

You don't hear about it too often, and some people eat a dozen quail eggs no problem :p

Just found your post. I'm real curious too. I got quail for this exact purpose. I have severe food allergies and I am allergic to almost everything.

Hogwash. My hay fever is as bad as ever after 4 years of quail eggs (last year was ONLY quail eggs), and I'd say it's gotten worse - I had to yank out my jasmine this year because I finally connected it to the asthma symptoms I developed last spring.

where you eating them raw?
My son has some pretty bad skin allergies and such. He also hates eggs. I tried bribing him to try eating the several raw a day, no luck. I tried mixing one in various things, he throws up at the slightest taste. I tried mixing it in pudding or yogurt without telling him, just one tiny egg in a big bowl of it, he still threw up, not even knowing it was there. But I’ve heard lots of success stories of people eating 6-9 raw per day, and their allergies improve and even acne gets better.

raw egg is nasty, that would make anyone gag. What's wrong with scrambled eggs?

Ps: For skin allergies I can highly recommend drinking mare's milk or getting it in supplemental form. It takes a while to notice improvements but horses milk has some natural healing properties that did seem to help clear up my skin allergies. Stress can make it flare up and a bad diet too.
