I am at the 6 weeks mark and the family is in the coop in the garage until the weather gets above freezing here.

I had ordered hatchery sexed females and know sometimes mistakes happen. The one I question most is the brown and black Easter Egger.

What do you think? I'll post more pics of hopefully her and the others later.

Thoughts and input appreciated.

Thinking on colors what do you think of Cluck?

I had been thinking because of the feathers and the smaller size that it was a she. Same age and also an EE.

Girl or boy?

First is definitely a pullet. The white bird, however, will be a mystery until it matures more. White and black EEs have a tendency to be male, but it isn't a coloration exclusive to males.

Question: Was your white and black bird pale as a chick, or did it have dark markings? Do you have pictures of it younger than a week?

Here is Cluck Norris at just a couple days old. Has always been on the light side with a few markings.

Comb doesn't really have any color.

Also has always perked up when I'm around but probably because I had the treats.
