How do you know? And what breed is it?

He’s a cockerel, with that red comb and wattles. He’s not an Australorp, because he has the wrong kind of comb. He’s probably some kind of Egger, since he has a pea comb.

Australorps don't have pea combs. Where did you get him?

Cockerel.
He's probably an Olive Egger or something of the sort.
