Couldn’t wait to post! Frankly, I’m too exhausted and annoyed at what tedious stuff I have left (window/door trim, caulking) to finish this week.

Our flock is currently 19 - looking like 7 Roos and 12 hens. The coop has 8 nesting boxes in case we get a few more chickens. It’s about 100 square feet. I decided to seal the floor and use EpoxyShield, which I hope will make deep litter and cleaning much easier.

The first 5 photos are from today, the next 9 are progress from start, and the last 4 are some of the flock.

I used a really strong mesh gutter guard for ventilation in about 10 linear feet of soffit, and sealed the others with plywood.
I'd take the plywood off and put hardware cloth on all of the soffits. That would be excellent ventilation for a coop that size. You did an excellent job on that coop!

Of course you can play it by ear and if what you have seems sufficient, that's great, but I'd consider opening them all up, it's really the optimal place for ventilation and you have such nice roof overhangs.

Also the epoxy floor is an interesting idea... should hold up well but I'll be curious to see how it ages as it's just not something I've seen before inside a coop.

I’m curious to see how the epoxy ages also. I sealed the floors so there shouldn’t be any moisture coming up from underneath. I’ve seen people use this in kennels, and it’s used on boats.

Nice coop and good looking flock!
