A few more of those and you won't have to purchase feed! That is a monster. Your tomato plant looks lovely though, great color, not stressed except for the bug. :eek:

Thank you. It's my first year to try this heirloom green tomato plants. We've been having 90-100 degree a day weather for weeks now. I'm surprised my garden is doing as well as it is. Thank goodness for drip irrigation.
 
Right on. Just joined. Been reading articles on this fantastic site. Getting ready to build first coop. No birds yet, but neighbors birds are in my yard daily. Looking forward to having my own small happy healthy flock. Aloha from the Hamakua coast

Congrats on your future flock. Im a few months into this and my honey says I am obsessed. Right?!!!

I do container planting... and lots of horse poop and compost but give up on my garden in the summer. It's too hot and I am too old!
