His eyes remind me of my granddog, she is a border collie. I'm not sure I'd recognize pit. My kids have a rescue that is pit mixed with whippet. She is very pretty. My daughter is fostering a pit mixed with lab for a few weeks until she is rehomed. My rescue was over 21 yrs old when he died 2 yrs ago. He was a wirehaired Dixie mix.
