Alpacas in SC

I'm thinking about getting some Alpacas.
Does anyone know where I can find them in SC? I've looked at breeders online, but they're insanely expensive. I would like to get a few alpacas with out spending 40,000 on them.
If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would be appreciative.

Thanks so much. That last one from craigs list, I actually talked to him the other day. He has a great deal on the alpacas he has.

My friend in Florida is downsizing and doing more dairy goats. Although hers are not $200..they are very nice quality animals from nice bloodless and awesome suri fiber. But you wouldn't spend near 40,000...either.
