But I also got her an anime she wanted, a copy of The Vorkosigan Companion, some sewing books she had on her wish list, and a bunch of interesting socks. I always give her interesting socks in her stocking every day.

It's a thin Christmas for us this year like it is for a lot of other folks, but we're pretty happy with it.

Some of you guys are doing rather well, others are scaring me just a tad. Honestly my husband could hand me the slippers I bought for him to give me with a couple baby ducks sleeping inside them and I would be perfectly thrilled. Think of Christmas as a time to enable your other half in something they really enjoy. It works, I promise. My husband is going nuts with leatherworking right now. I have Christmas and then 3 days later his birthday. He is getting a nice stack of leather working books and then a shopping trip to the leather store for his birthday. See i am enabling. I have no idea what he bought but he said its something that I would love but never buy for myself. Enabling again. I even got chickens for an anniversary gift. Hey I am good with that. Enable away.
