Alright, sevin dust appears to actually work AND not kill the chickies

Sevin is a poison that will not degrade. I wouldn’t put it near my chickens or the ground they food from.

Also, what would you suggest for mites & lice that is safer / works like a charm? Just curious. DE doesn't work 100%

Why don't you use permethrin powder and spray? It works well no withdrawal it won't give you cancer and won't kill your chickens. It works. DE is not very effective and can give your hens respiratory problems.

Can i just use the powder? Or do I have to use a spray, too? Also.. can you get that anywhere? Like tractor supply, etc
And wait, de can do that? I always sprinkle it in their sand. Is that bad?
I'm open to suggestions for anything. I currently don't have any bug problems but whenever the time comes again!

Permethrin based powder and spray is readily available in tsc and other farm stores. you can also get it online. Don't bother with de it doesn't do much if anything to control mites and lice.
