Altering my terrible TS coop.

Chris's time is so limited and his hands have a condition that will need surgery in the future. It takes a lot to get him to help but he is willing. Im so excited because he is also erecting a lean to over top the entire run!

Ok, before covering the hardware cloth covered attached run walls with plywood and trimming all around the base this coop never took on water. I just went out to do a bit of cleaning and found the pine shavings on the floor are wet. I've scooped out the majority of the wet bedding and left everything open in hopes of it drying a bit more. I'll go back out to add fresh dry bedding. I Think I know where the leak is, under the door where the trim wasn't added because it would block the door. I've got some figuring out to do now.:(
 
I ended up adding more Plexigl glass for light to get in mine. I put up clear vinyl flaps(after this picture) on the bottom door to stop wind from getting into the coop and they can still come in and out. I also added weather stripping to the nest box door. I added a light inside too. This will have to do until I can build what I want.
