Alternative Bedding. Help!

Hi guys!
Since it feels so nice outside, I decided to do some coop cleaning. Unfortunately, my 2 silkies have been kicking their bedding out of their coop, and recently my pine shavings have been invaded with rats, so we threw it all away. Now, I don't have any bedding. I need some ideas of alternative bedding. It is not ideal for me to leave and get some more pine shavings. Is there a bedding that I could find in my house/yard? FIY, I need bedding by TODAY because my coop literally has no more shavings.

Well, it just rained recently. Do you think if the dirt is damp will it cause my coop floor to mold?

Dried leaves should be fine. I have 9 bags of leaves saved up for the coop and run this winter.

If your pine shavings were invaded with rats, don’t you have another bigger issue??

Go with leaves, they love them and the price is right. Why did the rats go after your shavings?
