We sadly lost a little barnevelder with a respiratory infection a few weeks ago and have this little girl as a replacement.

Not really sure what she is... barnevelder/welsummer or neither!
Any suggestions, or too early to tell? Doesn’t seem to be standard barnevelder feathers.
She is quite a bit darker than the photos are, they’re a bit over exposed.

Not really sure. Barnevelders should be darker. Doesn't really look like a Welsummer either. Maybe post more pictures when it is full grown and we might have a better idea on breed. Maybe someone else will know more than me.

Feathers seem quite different- yours look like Barnevelders, the pattern on ours is much finer.
Looks like you have a penciled bird rather than double laced. Welsummers aren't penciled, they're stippled. I'd ask the breeder about it. Either they subbed a Partridge Rock or penciling is in their line for some reason.

It doesn't look like a typical Barnevelder. But I do know Sandhill sells partridge Barnevelders and they say they arise as sports of the regular double laced Barnevelders, so maybe that is what happened here.

On the other hand, this bird's legs don't look yellow enough for a Barnevelder, so it could be a mixed breed.
