Here are some pics of my beautiful duck Trigger who has grown up sooooo fast. I got Trigger on the 13th of November last year at about 6 weeks of age! I assume he/she is about 3 months old now. At the time I posted up photos and everyone agreed that it was a muscovy.

Any guesses as to whether Trigger is a duck or a drake? I know nothing but have assumed drake because it has grown so big so fast!... but I have nothing to compare it to (and no idea about ducks!)

and do we still agree that it is a muscovy?.......

(excuse the poor dusty pen and dirty pool..... Trigger moves on to the new coop deluxe today after the roof is completed!

That is a muscovy 100%. But cant really tell on gender. Does it fly? If it does then its probably a hen. how much does s/he weigh? Looks like a drake but not 100% sure.....

I'm glad we agree on muscovy!!! Hrmmm..... but this 'he/she' thing is debateable!!!

If it helps I have never seen trigger fly and I have never heard trigger quack... but today when I was taking photos he/she kind of honked at me? a soft sort of honk noise rather than a quack as such!

She looks like a female that I saw at a lake, recently, except yours doesn't have an eye ring, probably because she's young. How big is your duck?
