Am I a leghorn?

they are mutts, aren't they? why can't they have pea combs

I bet they got this bird from TSC, doubting they have fancy breeds like you mentioned
The bird pictured doesn’t have a pea comb. That’s a walnut comb (or cushion comb, which is a type of walnut). Walnut combs are dominant to single combs, so if cornish x had the genetics for walnut combs, there would be a lot with them. I’ve never seen a cornish x without a single comb.

Chanteclers are available from several hatcheries, one of which is cackle, which is one of the biggest hatcheries.

Thanks for all the responses! We got this batch from The Chic Hatchery and I actually did get a "rare breed" order with my colored eggers I ordered and of course, they threw extras in! I'll look up the several you all mentioned!

Now... any chance to tell if it's a roo-8 weeks old ?? 😆 here's more pics...

Yep. Agree it's white Chantecler-thank you!! It's been chest bumping with my Mottled Houdan roo (who had the cutest 1st "crow" yesterday haha!) so just wondering if "she's" actually a "he". :)
