I agree that chickens are very relaxing and they don't judge you based on a learning disability. They only judge you whether you bring them food or not....

The schools up where you live should have classes for children who are learning disabled. Our schools down here have them, with special teachers who are schooled in teaching kids like this. I've got 2 sons who are reading disabled. Let me tell you that they really do help. I feel so bad, that these rotten kids are like this to you.

! They do these things to make themselves feel bigger than they are.

Please, never give up, and don't let them get the better of you. You're a wonderful person, a compassionate person, always remember that. Keep on lovin' those chickens! They're the best therapy for anyone!!

My brother has it. His writing is horrible, but most teachers want everything typed nowadays, which makes it better. Colleges let him take longer on tests and he hasn't had a problem getting the extra help he needs to ensure that he is successful in his education. A guy I went to college with had that too. We just knew that in group projects, he wasn't going to be the one that will be writing anything down. Having a NLD doesn't mean that you are stupid or anything, it is just a matter of finding what works for you and the way your brain works. As for the mean kids...they aren't friends anyway.

Canadian school systems needs to improve a lot before a get the help i desrve. the people that have ADHD and maybe ADD are getting more help then i am that is what makes me so mad. Thanks i need this
