Don't give up!! Ignore those kids, they are the real losers, not you. You are at that awkward age right now, and kids are super mean at that age. I worked in a school cafeteria for 16 years and took up the fight for many kids who just didn't "fit' in according to some of the big mouths that thought they knew it all. I stood up for one kid all through grade school, until he graduated, and he loves me to this day. I cannot stand to see someone treated badly or unfairly. Life is too short, and we all are here for a reason, even if we aren't sure of what that is!!! It will happen when its suppose too, and then you will think, "well, sure . . .why didn't I see it coming!!"
I do want you to make a promise to yourself, PLEASE. One of my twins had LD (she was fine one on one, and could answer the test questions verbally fine, but writing it down was her crutch to bear, and caused her grief for years. Even had a grade school LD teacher who told her that if she couldn't learn this one thing, she was going to get a whipping. It was stopped, but lots of angry people over it, let me tell you, with ME being in front! But, my DD quit school when she was junior, because of this and other things, but mostly because the LD teacher she had in high school and absolutely loved, was accused by one of the other teachers of giving DD answers for her tests outside the subjects classroom. Wasn't true, but it hurt the teacher so much and DD also, they were afraid to do much . . .anyway, getting too long winded on this, but it was a terrible time . . .so DD quit and nothing we said could get her to go back. She has tried to pass the GED three times, but Illinois has made it so difficult she has given up on that also. DON'T GIVE UP AND QUIT, NO MATTER WHAT. Things will get better . . .you sound like an absolutely wonderful person, and don't let this rough patch get you down!!! Go talk to your chickens, and tell em' how you feel. They love you now matter what!!!
Good Luck, and please don't forget the promise to yourself!!!!
