I would say the funniest thing I ever ran into is when they changed the Interstate speed from 55 to 65. i was heading out of town and I came upon a long line of cars going 55. So i pulled out to pass and the first car in the lead was a highway patrol man. i was about to slip back in when I remembered the speed had been changed. I pulled up next to him we looked at each other, started laughing, waved to each other and I was off going 65 the speed limit.
Looked behind me and the other cars started to slowly start passing him. Some people may think the patrolman was a jerk, but with our long stretches of roads they need some entertainment.

Some kid wanted to see your car run and see if they were faster.

I kid in a Honda Del Sol (of all things) wanted to race me, in town! I shouted out the window, "Let's race up to the cop car!"

He shouted "OK! ... what?" and looked forward to see a police car in the Taco Bell parking lot. We'd have roared by and made that cop's day.

Racing is great fun. That's why they do it every weekend, at the track.

Nah, I would've done it too. Tell me more about your car. I am not pleased with what Chevrolet did with the car. It looks good but I was hoping they would do what Ford and Chrysler did and go retro. Could you imagine what that would have looked like. Anyway, how fast is it? Did you get the six speed? How does it ride? Stereo and good? Any blind spots? Fuel mileage? Come on man, tell me!!!!!!!

Congratulations on the new car btw

I'm sorry, what were you saying? I was having a meltdown....Us girls get em too!

I don't think you're a bad person for doing that. You were undercontrol of yourself... this guy only thought he was!

That is sweet and sooooo deserving for the other driver. I will never understand why people think it is OK to drive even a car length distance from the other driver. Can you really stop when you are that close and going 50 or more?

I drive the highway each day for the kids school and know where police sit,so I am always slowing down and encouraging the bumper drivers to pass me fast.

The highway we use has speed changes from 65 to 50 to 60 to 65. Police get their monthly quota very easily on that highway.

It's scary fast, lol According to Chevy the speed is limited at 155, I haven't tested that feature. Mine has the 6 speed automatic, at 100 the tach reads about 3800 RPM and there is still 1/2 a gas peddle to go. It rides stiff but that's the way it supposed to, the steering is tight. The stereo sounds great, I get around 26MPG. It takes a little getting used to driving it. It's low to the ground and has the long nose so you can't really see over it. The first time I got into it I noticed how narrow the windows are. The windshield looks big but it slopes alot so your actual viewing area is about 16 to 18 inches. I haven't really noticed any blind spots. The back seat is useless but that isn't a factor for us, the trunk is pretty big and the back seat folds down. The seats are super comfy, they way they are made they kind of wrap around you.

You are my hero of the day. I have exceeded the speed limit once or twice or well... but the jerks that have to ride so close you can't see their headlights really tick me off. If I'm not going fast enough then by all means pass me, but please don't ride my bumper.

I think it was well played, Thank you for sharing
