i have been feeding my chicks layer mash for about 2 weeks am i screwed or am i ok

Yes, you are completely doomed and the world may in fact stop spinning... and all because your chickens were mis-fed! Just kidding, this cannot be a big deal. Go tot he feed store and get some chick starter (start and grow, starter, chick feed, whatever they call it) and give that to them. i use medicated starter but others don't, no big deal either way just get what you can.

You'll just have chicks the size of Clydesdales but what the heck. May have to buy a bigger brooder though.

If they have survived for 2 weeks, I think they will be just fine!!! How do you think our grandmas raised chicks?!?! Not with the scientific feed we have today for sure!
