One of the things I learned when I first got chicks is they NEED sleep. I had the white light and lord have mercy they ate like crazy and peeped and made noise all night.
When I had a couple that looked ill I put them in a box by themselves with some food and water. Then closed the lid over so it was dark. Of course they were in my office where the temp is 70-80* most of the time. Anyhow after a good nights sleep or two they were fine.
Also I always start them out with sugar water to give them some immediate energy. I have hyperglysemia and I know how I feed when my blood sugar drops. I eat a candy bar or some protein and it takes awhile but I pull through.
I suggest separating any sick chick or bird and let them get some rest. The others will just nag them to death. Literally.
Hope all goes well
