You know, if you read to your chickens from a very young age on, they'll have a larger vocabulary by the time they enter preschool and will be much more ready for school, and reading and writing in general.

(This also works for human "chickies", too).

I talk to my chickens all the time but this is the first time reading to them. No really guys I love the christmas story so much so it was more for me than for them. Just what ever you do please don't tell them. I would hate to break there hearts.

awwwww reading to your chickens how sweet

I spend alot of time outside talking to my chickens and my hubby is used to it now..
but if he ever caught me reading them a bedtime story..............



he would send the little men in white coats after me
