Am I Really a Lavender Orp Rooster?

He could be a mix but mostly lavender Orpington...? The woman I bought him from - with a pullet hatch mate - didn’t turn out to be 100% honest on other issues so I have to question what she said their breed is. She did use the word ‘English’ too.

I have no need for a rooster and before I talk to my fiend who took other chickens from me to start his own flock I’d like to be able to give him as accurate info as I can as he may decide to hatch chicks from Doc.

I’ll try to get close up
Pics of the tail feathers to see if that potential barring is easier to see. He also does have a single white tipped tail feather. Maybe that points to a cross vs full blooded LO...?

Sounds like he could be crossed with something else, and be mostly lav orp. In which case, I wouldn't use him as your friend's breeder if they were going for show or going to breed to the SOP.

I was told I was a lavender Orpington pullet but 2 weeks ago I crowed. And for the past 10 days I’ve been doing my rooster duty to the hens.

Now I’ve seen posted pics here of other lavender orp roosters and frankly I don’t look like them. I did come from a backyard owner that sells chickens as a side business and I was too young to notice who my mom and dad were or anyone else in the yard.

Since I don’t have money to get in ancestry dot com I thought maybe you knowledgeable peeps could tell me what I am.

Thanks!
