Should I be concerned that her feathers are coming in white? I don't want a rooster

...don't really want a white bird either...we have lots of predators in this area.

erm... Comb is looking a little big for the stage of feather growth... You'll be able to tell in another week or so once the comb starts turning red or not.. as far as preditors and what feathers, Aside from losing a Black Tailed White Japanese roo to a hawk, I've found that the Hawks an Raccoons in my area go after my Jerseys first even though there is a Red Pyle OEGB roo and a White d'Uccle roo in clear shot.

I always loose white birds

This one didn't even make it to maturity

So, does that mean the chick in question is not a sex link?...will the rest of her feathers start coming in red?

I am new to chickens and we got ours at swap. I have one that I was told as a RIR but she looks A LOT like you Gold Comet.... Is a Gold Comet a cross? Is there any way to tell for sure whether I have a RIR or a Gold Comet?

TIA
