Am I Right ??

Mom was either Production Red or SLW, dad was BR or SLW. I took one egg from each of my 3 PRs and one egg from my SLW and put them under my broody BSL who hadn't laid in a week. Both roos are with hens.

I would say that your barred rock cross is a boy then. the comb is really big for 5 weeks.

Yeah, I was looking at them today and it looks like Dinky Doo and Nugget are boys. No more boys !!!

I see 2 cockerels. The 3rd may be as well.

I was finally able to catch these little boogers, so I was able to get good pics of their combs. First one is Dinky Doo, not Roo, darn auto correct. Then Scout, and last is Nugget. Just over 5 wks.



I think Scout is a pullet, and Dinky Doo and Nugget are cockerels. I keep changing my mind the older they get. Still learning the differences.

Looks like 3 little boys to me.
Scout and Nugget both have red comb and red wattles, which at 5 weeks is a cert for cockerels. In your first photos of Dinky Doo I was pretty sure he was a boy. The comb development is too big and pink but in these new photos the comb looks more yellow, so I am doubting my initial impression a bit but still going with gut feeling hence 3 cockerels.
