Here's some newer photos of the EE I hatched. It was obviously straight run and I love it, so I'm trying to worry less about its gender. Last post most said it was a pullet, but 1 or 2 said maybe roo. This one was born on February 6th, so it is just shy of 2 months old.
This chick is turning out to be a little lover like my other EE, one reason I wanted to hatch some more. Also, she has great earmuffs and beard, the thing I like best about the look of a true Ameraucana. This is the only one that hatched, so I got another one that was sexed from the store, but they look nothing alike. Because of this, I am really hoping it is a little girlie. I have a name picked out, but won't give it to her until I know its really a her. I'm in the process of trying to re-home my best buddy, my roo, and its just about breaking my heart.
What do you think?
