I'm so glad my neighbors love my chickens. I also like it that it's so different to keep chickens in the city. If everyone did it who would I sell my eggs to?
If it makes you feel any better she probably realized how stupid her comment was right after she said it and sat there feeling like an idiot. Well I like to think so anyway.

We used to rehab animals from the zoo, you never knew what would be at our house. Baby bats, european polecats, chinese painted quail, rheas, egyptian geese, hair sheep, deer, the list goes on and on. It was fun and sometimes heart breaking.
But never dull.
