Am I the only one that hates halloween?

If you don't want anyone to come to your door, all you had to do was put up a BIG sign that said "FLU" on it.

Did the trick here, not one knock. I usually hand out candy too, but I really have the flu so I though it would be better for everyone if I stayed in bed instead of passing out germy candy.

I sent my kids out too, my BIL hooks up a trailer to his 4wheeler and takes the kids around town. We live in a town of 1800 and if we don't know somebody at a house, somebody we know will know who they are. My kids came home with toothbrushes, bubbles, hot chocolate mix, chips, pencils, and of course an assortment of popcorn balls and candy. Not the 2 tons but enough; I usually have them all dump it together and we dole it out over the next few weeks so they don't eat it all at once. None of these kids have cavity issues either and they all eat a very healthy diet of unrefined foods so this one time event of the year will not hurt them any.

I used to take my kids down the costume isle as babies and show them the masks so they would not be afraid on Halloween; they always thought the masks were funny, not scary.

I dont really like Halloween, I like the concept, but I dont like Trick or Treating, just giving away sweets to random people. In England we have a law, that if you're caught with flour eggs etc.. after 6pm, you get jailed if your over 10, kinda harsh, but I suppose its fair. But we can put signs up saying 'No Trick or Treaters'. It can be fun, until you get tricked

and thats annoying. Thank goodness we live in the country now, and no-one can really be bothered to walk down our lane.
