I grew up in L.A. and only the gangs would carry guns.
Now I still live in the city. Can only have hens..................7 of them.
I want to carry.................but I would probably "shoot my eye out"
My hubby has a concealed license..................but he is leary about me getting one. I wonder why?

I don't carry a gun when I'm outside with the chickens. When I go out at night, I take a flashlight though because I'm always afraid I'll spook a skunk!

I was taught at an early age not to put holes in pelts LOL I have a right hefty walking stick though LOL

I carry a .22 rifle if I am free ranging the flock. And we heavier fire power ready at all the back doors. We have too many predators to take any chances.

I would walk around with my Winchester but my neighbors would definitely mind me walking around with my Winchester 1873 .44. I believe in selective hunting. The things that bother me!!
