My ducks can see into the house from their enclosure.
When I come out of my room in the morning they see me & let out a boisterous chorus of quacks.
I run out and say "hi" until they calm down.
This morning was SO COLD, I ran right in the house and started some mashed potatoes for them. I know THEY aren't cold (they were in their night pool when I got out of bed), but I think they will enjoy the warm treat.

Everyone I know thinks I am duck crazed.

Over the last few months my ducks have been getting a serving of peas in warm water ever night at around 9pm. Now that day light saving has kicked in with the warmer weather here in Australia they get to stay out later at night but still get a treat most nights.

Their about to take our daylight saving away and it's getting cold here.... enjoy it goes by so fast. Mine get their peas in cold water, I'll have to change that since it's getting cold.

I'm just as bad. I buy more produce than we could eat just for the birds. Organic yogurt for them, the $5 tub, because the other cheaper types have "poison" in it. Sprinkled with peas on top of course.
