This is true, but out of 40 some thousand I am sure someone is from Italy......

Word tends to get out, secrects rarely stay that way when over 40 thou have been told!

I was shocked when I read it on Yahoo this morning. Had no clue they would find her and the guy guilty. I guess this is one of those "guilty by association" verdicts. I feel so sorry for her parents, they were so sure she would be found not guilty.
 
I heard about the guilty verdict while shopping yesterday. I was actually surprised she didn't get off. Remember the drug use, weird behavior and all the lies she told. I thought she was guilty from day one. Of course all we know is what we hear in sound bites on the news. If she is innocent I hope it can be proved.

I was really confused until I noticed the 2 year gap between the last 2 messages. I think she is going to be railroaded. Watching Italians discuss the case they don't really talk about the case they just talk about Amanda and how evil she is. The DNA evidence used to convict her was ruled phony, non-existent... another guy sits in prison, having confessed to the murder. I think this girl is going to get railroaded into a guilty verdict. There isn't any evidence against her, but I don't know if I have much faith in the Italian jurors. If this happened in the United States she would have never even been put on trial.
