The 4 babies we bought all looked exactly the same. Boy did they all 4 turn out to look totally different. Take a look.

This is "Chiefaroo" the rooster

This is "Scratch" the other rooster

"LuLu" the pullet...

And this is Miss/Mr I'm not sure...right now the name is "Miss Priss" and I hope it stays "Miss Priss".

That's the cool thing with easter eggers, the color genetic are all over the place. They're fun to cross to other breeds, too, cause you get some really pretty offspring.

You only have one female, by the way. That last bird is a young rooster.

Are they Americaunas or Easter Eggers? That has been the other thing we are not sure about. Which rooster do you think will turn out to be the prettiest?

That depends on what you like. :) I would choose based on attitude as well as what you want to breed for color wise.

They are Easter Eggers. Ameraucanas come in a few standard colors. EE's can be any color or mix of colors. (Miss Priss is a Mr. Priss.

These are EEs (which are like a box of chocolates without the cheat sheet, color-wise).

The final bird is a rooster. I agree that picking for temperament is more important than color.

x3 Sorry, you've got a "Mr. Priss" and yes, they are EE!

I think they'll all be beautiful. I'd love to see how the first one colors out, he's got that kinda-sorta lacing thing going on, it'd be interesting to see how that comes out.
