It is amazing when you are used to seeing a horse ridden with a headstall. From a trainer standpoint, I break out any horse to ride off my seat and legs. Any horse I break out I can drop the reins and still ride them. They listen to my legs and my seat.

I think the most amazing thing there is her skill at staying on a bare back horse. That is a well trained horse tho

This video was really big about 6 months ago. Ellen went out and interviewed Stacy. Took her 7 years to train that horse, she said.

Even 8-10 years ago at the Appaloosa World show, the champion freestyle horse was ridden without bridle. Many folks dropped the bridle during spins and a couple during rundowns and stops ..

It's always exciting to watch!

I saw stacey westfall a couple years ago at equine affaire in ohio. She is not only an amazing performer but such a wonderful trainer and a true horse whisperer.
