there you go...people here understand the addiction. Others? Not so much...so I am here in good company and loving it...

and folks around here thought me odd when I started the garden. Now its chickens. We also get beef from a local farm, whole steer at a time, grass fed only. They must think I'm absolutely bonkers now; loved that look I got from them when I told my DH at the football gathering that now that his buddies like the eggs so much, I need MORE chickens.

I get my beef from a local farmer also...grass fed...raised like beef should be raised...I can't eat the other stuff any more...makes me sick...I love it when I pick up a pkg of some meat or other, even chicken, and it is enhanced with some mystery solution...gag me already...grow my own tomatos and peppers, trade eggs and those for other stuff home grown...I read all labels when I go to the store and most stuff I just put back on the shelf...I get ragged about it often but I like real food...I eat a lot of eggs!
