It is pretty amazing watching birds grow and mature from the moment they pop out of the egg. Ambrose is my special guy. Rumpless and tufted. But not long ago, he was just a little ball of fluff! He still has more growing to do, but finally is lookin' mighty fine!
This was him once he was out of the baby stage and getting his first real feathers! He had oatmeal all over his beak since I'd just served it to the brood

I love his tufts! He is bilaterally tufted, but they aren't evenly sized. Still too cute!
