Hi, These chicks are 10 weeks old now. Can anyone tell if they are Ameracanas or EE's? Also is it too early to tell which are roo's and which are hens? Any info is appreciated, thanks:)

Thanks for the warm welcome

It would be great if they are all pullets. I was just out to the coop and heard one of them trying to crow, but I hear that even pullets will try that when they are young. I'll keep you posted

You have Easter Eggers (Ameraucanas would have muffs EEs don't need to also the coloring isn't right for Ameraucanas), I think you have at least 2 or 3 cockerels.

It looks like you have some beautiful EE's! In the first pic the chicken to the right looks like a cockerel. That's the only one I can see definite signs of being a cockerel, but I'm not great with gender. Good luck and keep us updated! :)

The black one and the brown one both have muffs, so could those be ameraucanas? This is my first time having this breed, I've only had red sex link til now, so I appreciate any pointers I can get!!

No, they don't look like them. The coloring isn't right and Ameraucanas can really only bought from reputable breeders.

Do you have any advice on how and when to move them into the coop with my existing flock? They are outside in a run in the daytime and at night I put them in the barn, but I would like to put them in the coop ASAP! Thanks for your help
