Ok. so I had bought a bunch of chicks that were all suppose to be little hens when they grew up the only thing is that they all turned out to be roosters. So then I put them up for sale on craigslist and they all got very loving homes with 4H kids to show them except for the one we are keeping and another that we traded for Ameracanuas. He told me he purchased them from Ideal (I think that is right) how do you know for sure? Not that it really matters, I also got a black orpington from him but I don't think she is, my rooster is a buff orpington and he is so much bigger than the girls. And they are all laying eggs, I am getting 2 blue eggs and 1 pink one a day Who is laying the pink egg?

is that one (in the first pic) with the big buff rooster, a rooster also?...cause it looks just like my arucana..that i'm hoping is a hen...thanks, Wendy

She is definitely a she, she lays big almost always double yoke eggs- blue ones, we know this because she will lay an egg everyday when my daughter gets home from school while my daughter is watching.

Easter Eggers lay pink eggs too, it just means that they have a brown egg laying chicken not very far back in their heiritage. Also, does anyone know what the color pattern of the pullet in the 1st 2 pics is called?
