Ameracauna female chicks for sale - SF Bay/San Jose NorCal Area

Just out of curiosity--what color variety are these Ameraucana chicks?

They were hatched by Stromberg Hatchery on July 7th. They only specified they were Ameraucana, not mixed easter eggers. Based on the chicks coloring they look like a mix of brown and blue and wheaton. Here's a few pics.

Cool! Although it also says they cannot be used in shows.
I know some hatcheries call their EE's Ameraucanas.

Yes, I agree, almost no hatcheries sell pure Ameraucanas, and they also don't come in that color.

And the fact that they say they can’t be shown is really sketchy to me. Almost no hatcheries sell true ameraucanas, you usually have to get them through a breeder to get pure ones. Even if you’re not planning on showing, with Ameraucanas it’s always better to get the most show quality ones you can to know you’re not getting ripped off. As far as I know, even if you mix two pure ameraucana colors and the offspring comes out a different color than any of the accepted colors, it’s considered and EE. I have three EEs, and they all looked like those chicks when I got them. That is not an accepted color. I’m sorry, you got ripped off.

EEs, to my knolage Meyer and My Pet Chicken are the only hatchery selling pure Ameracans, Americas are a fancy name for EE.

Those are also the only hatcheries I’ve seen that carry them
