Ameracauna or Easter Egger?

I wouldn't say so, but its the biggest way to tell an ameraucana from an EE. I believe 'willow' legs are permitted on some of the colors of araucana, for instance.

I'm so fascinated by all of this. All my life I just thought a chicken was q chicken. But as I'm getting to know my girls (I have a BO, WR, Wyandotte, RIR, Sexlink, and 3 EEs) I'm learning so much about breed standards, heritage (wish I had gotten more of these and fewer EEs), and breed temperaments.

Now you know for when you start some replacement birds next spring

Are EE the only breed with green legs? I've been trying to research leg shank colors, but haven't found much.
Actually, there really isn't a standard accepted breed with green legs, except for some Araucanas.

Anyways leg colors
Yellow wwII
White W+W+II
Slate W+W+i+i+
Willow wwi+i+
i+ the gene for slate is sex linked. I can help more on shank color if need be.
