These were hatched 4/11& 4/12. They are about 7-1/2 weeks old. I think they are all roos.... I can get better pictures tomorrow if needed. Thanks!

Ok, a few more photos of my "adolescent" chicks. I have 4 (if you remember), that I wasn't sure if boys or girls. Well, in the last 4 days - 2 of the "chicks" have definite red combs. Here are a few more pics of the other two in question. They are Ameracaunas x EEs. 8 weeks old tomorrow (June 7) - I purchased 10 chickies hoping to get 4 pullets - I have one & I think that's all! Oh well!

Thanks for any input...Carol

I believe the second picture and third pictures are hens and the fourth is male. I am not sure on the first cause the rump feathers look like they could be pointed and rounded. Females have more rounded feathers where the males have more of a pointed feather. I look at the base of their tail before it leaves their body. If the feathers there are rounded tops, they usually are female where the males go to more of a point. I have a chantecler who is penciled like a female and multi-colors like a roo. I will just have to wait.
