Hey y’all I’m new to breeding chickens but I’m trying to breed a Ameraucana and a buff Orpington and I have a few questions.

When do chickens go into heat?(if they even do)

what tips and tricks should I know about breeding chickens?
What is some info I need to know about breeding?

Chickens don’t go into heat. A hen will lay throughout the year, though more so in the summer months when daylight hours are longer. If you’re relying on a broody hen to hatch eggs, there are many factors that can influence when and if she’ll go broody and want to sit on eggs. If you don’t want to wait and hope for that then you’ll need an incubator.
