Wow, those look pretty different from the Ameraucana chicks I got today! Must be some different types of Ameraucana coloring. Mine are yellow and black and yellow, light brown and black. They look like tiny little burrowing owls.

Very cute! They are also much different looking than mine, although the yellow one is something near the one I have.

Hi,

I got all my flock from Rose Konold and two hens from Joseph Woodiel. They are both breeders with the Ameraucana Breeders Club. These are their offspring. Where did you get yours? Will you post pictures?

All I have right now is blacks and blues in this breed.

I just hatched these yesterday & today ~ there are 7 B/B/S Ameraucanas & 10 OE (Cuckoo Maran/Ameraucana) in this picture.

hmmm, I would say that yellow one is definitely not pure color.....did you get any of her mottled projects?

these birds are from when she had blacks. I asked if she had more this year to buy but she said the dogs had got her blacks. i don't think she had the molts back then. You can see the pictures of my cocks and hens on my byc page.
