Ameraucana chicks?

I am hoping the pet store has not sold out since Friday, because I want some Ameraucana chicks, but I want real ones I have EE already and I want a guarantee on colored eggs... so how do I tell if they are true Ameraucanas or EE????(my EE are only a week old)

Rule of thumb: If you buy them from a pet store, they are EEs. If you get them from the feed store, they are EEs. If you get them from a hatchery, they are EEs. If you buy them from a breeder, they MIGHT be the real thing.
That is how you tell. Just get the Easter Eggers, they're great birds!

If your wanting the look...most EE's have a very similar look to Ameraucana's. If you want the guarantee of blue eggs, EE will not make it. I have 3 26 week EE, only one is laying. She lays pretty little tan eggs - no blue, no green But they still taste delish

Check the sticky at the top.
Go to Ameraucana.org, and chick out the breeders list, and ask for pics.
