I’ve had awesome luck with Cackle Hatchery’s Ameraucanas. They do not have BBS wheatens though. Unfortunately.

I have black and lavender ameraucanas that I ordered from cackle last year and have been very pleased. Great looking birds and great layers

I have their white and lavenders, I have also had a very pleasant experience. Stunning eggs and stunning birds.

I'm so excited to hear this from three different members! I've got 11 Blue and Splash Ameraucanas from Cackle that are 14 weeks old. Got them straight run and wound up with 6 boys and 5 girls. I'm hoping to cross them to Welsummers for ultimate speckled green eggs.

This girl is an Easter Egger. I have two of the same exact pattern. It is extremely common.

Splash is technically not a recognized variety. HOWEVER, there are splash Ameraucanas. As there are blue and black Ameraucanas, and where there is blue, there is splash.

Splash and Blue are caused by the same gene, but splash is a bird with two copies, and blue only has one.

I have blue, black and splash ameraucana hens. Looking to get a roo and found someone close with a black and a blue one available. What offspring would they produce? What’s the possible outcomes?

Black boy x blue girl = 50% black 50%blue

Black boy x splash girl = 100% blue


Blue boy x black girl = 50% black 50% blue

Blue boy x blue girl = 25% black 50% blue 25% splash

Blue boy x splash girl = 50% blue 50% splash

I have a lavender, blue, and splash Ameraucanas from Cackle. They are awesome. One is splash is a boy! And he is so funny learning to crow. They are one of my firsts.
